Being Llaeth Y Llan’s first ever TV commercial, we focused on the heritage of the company; the fact that it all started “From a little farm in Wales”. Also, the yoghurts are depicted as little pots of happiness; ” A little pot of hapus”, due to their bright attracting colours and semblance as children’s toys – something to put a smile on your face.

The style of this commercial is 2D, created using Adobe After Effects for animating and Adobe Illustrator for creating the graphic elements. The animation itsef has a bounce in its motion to add dynamic and to emphasise the yoghurt pots playful nature.

Having reached 30 years of operation, Llaeth Y Llan wanted to create a celebratory TV commercial. The idea was that the animation would depict famous landmarks of Wales and end on the yoghurt pots itself in an explosion of celebration.

A rotating world was used for this 2.5D commercial. Adobe After Effects and Illustrator were utilised, as in the first commercial. The world is covered in the company’s heritage tapestry as a way to show that the globe is a world of Llaeth Y Llan; the tapestry being part of the company’s inception.
